Recently purchased this kit from OD Cleaning. I was very apprehensive about the salesmans claims as to its abilities to clean with just water…… no chemicals, no power washer, no hot water…… just de ionised water.
He did say if I wasnt happy just drop it back, obviously he had experience of his product cause it aint goin back. Our first evening we went all in and attacked the second floor windows and Velux roof lights. Well impressed would be an understatement. It did exactly as promised, although our control of the oh so light carbonfibre pole might need further refinement with more experience. Next evening the reason it was bought was attacked…….. ground array solar PV panels and roof mounted old hot water panels which hadnt seen a wash in 10 years as just too difficult to access. Whole job was done in under an hour, from setup to putting away included. The brush is very effective yet soft enough to not scratch (2 different materials). No streak marks left when dry. Rubber bump stops on brush edges a gift. Good water flow through the brush (2 nozzles) and the attached spray bar ( 4 nozzles) ideal for a rinse off afterwards.
This system isnt cheap, loads of like looking product alot cheaper on Amazon. Window cleaning isnt cheap either as a recent job locally cost the owners €440.00+ VAT. But years have thought me the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of cheap price is forgotten.
Why did I give it 4 instead of 5 stars….. because the roll up of the green plastic hose is a pain to keep it untangled…. worse than any polly rope. Maybe I havent learned that trick yet. Next the panels on the garage roof and no trips to the gym needed yet.
