Delivery
1.1 Full delivery prices and options are listed on the OD Cleaning Supplies Website or catalogue and subject to change from time to time.
1.2 If an Order is placed by a Customer and accepted by OD Cleaning Supplies, stocked products are usually delivered within 2-3 days from the time of acceptance of the Order within the Republic of Ireland (excluding certain remote areas). Large items may take longer. Delivery times are stated as a guideline and are subject to change.
1.3 Remote deliveries will usually be despatched as soon as possible however the actual delivery time cannot be guaranteed and will vary depending on the delivery location.
1.4 OD Cleaning Supplies will use reasonable endeavours to meet delivery estimates in all cases however OD Cleaning Supplies cannot be held liable for any loss or damage due to delay in delivery.
1.5 Risk in the Goods transfers to the Customer at the time of delivery but title will not pass until payment has been made in full for the Goods in question.
1.6 Goods delivered are used, stored and installed at the Customer’s own risk and OD Cleaning Supplies will not be liable for any damage, loss or disruption caused by the same. Where installation/disconnection services have been requested by the Customer, further charges, terms and conditions may apply as communicated by OD Cleaning Supplies to the Customer before delivery.
Returns and Warranties
2.1 If the Customer is a private consumer domiciled in a member state of the EEA, the Customer may have a right, in accordance with their applicable local law, to cancel the Order without giving a reason within 14 working days of receiving the relevant Goods. All Goods must be unopened in their original packaging and un-used. In that instance, the Customer may be entitled to a full refund. In order to exercise this right, the Customer should contact OD Cleaning Supplies at 065 683 5111 for details on how to return the Goods. Proof of payment will be required. The Customer will be responsible for the cost of returning all Goods to OD Cleaning Supplies. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
2.2 Subject to the conditions in this Clause 2, Goods may be returned for a refund, exchange or replacement within 30 days provided if they are returned unopened in their original packaging and un-used.. Certain large or bulky items may be subject to a restocking fee. Certain Goods cannot be returned for hygiene purposes. The Customer will be responsible for the cost of returning all Goods to OD Cleaning Supplies. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Trackable shipping services are advised to guarantee Goods have been returned.
2.3 Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
2.4 Goods are guaranteed in accordance with the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty or for 1 year from delivery unless otherwise stated. Certain manufacturers do not offer full parts and labour warranties in the Republic of Ireland. Goods reported faulty within the specified warranty period may be repaired, replaced or exchanged at OD Cleaning Supplies’ discretion. This warranty applies to Customers based in the Republic of Ireland only.
2.5 Warranty does not apply to any defect in the Goods caused by the fault, negligence or failure of the Customer to use the goods for their normal intended purposes or failure to adhere to manufacturer instructions (including storage, use in incorrect environment, maintenance, de-scaling and cleaning). Certain machinery parts are not covered under manufacturers’ warranty such as hosing, lances, triggers, lances etc. Goods damaged due to weather or operational misuse are not covered under warranty.
2.6Goods marked ‘semi-commercial’, ‘light-duty use only’ or similar must not be used as substitutes or replacements for heavy-duty or commercial-grade equipment.
2.7 OD Cleaning Supplies may in its reasonable discretion invalidate warranties for any Goods that have been or are suspected to have been altered, tampered with, serviced, repaired or attended to without OD Cleaning Supplies’ prior approval.
2.8 Engineer call-outs and repairs carried out on non-warranty faults or defects may be subject to further charges including where the Customer has missed or is unduly late for an arranged call-out
2.9 Goods that are damaged due to delivery must be reported to OD Cleaning Supplies within 24 hours. Goods must be inspected by the Customer on delivery for damage and an acceptance of delivery docket.
3 Termination
3.1 OD Cleaning Supplies reserves the right, by notice to the Customer, to cancel or suspend any Order where payment has not been received .
3.2 OD Cleaning Supplies reserves the right to terminate this Agreement if the Customer cannot pay its debts or becomes bankrupt or has a winding-up order made or appoints an Examiner, Liquidator, Receiver or similar is appointed over the whole or a substantial part of the assets and undertaking of the Customer.
3.3 OD Cleaning Supplies reserves the right to suspend or terminate performance of this Agreement where delivery or supply of the Goods and/or performance of this Agreement is affected by reasons out of OD Cleaning Supplies’ reasonable control such as force majeure, act of God, adverse weather and government intervention, sanction or legislation.
3.4 OD Cleaning Supplies reserves the right to cancel any Order where it is reasonably suspected that the Customer is not legally permitted to purchase any Goods specified in the Order (such as solvents and knives).
